The USKF would like to congratulate all members of the USKF Junior Squad who competed in the KUGB Youth Championships in Liverpool on Saturday.

In the novice kata event orange to purple belt under 16, 1st place was Savannah Coates from the Tunnyduff Shotokan Karate Club, second place was Ruth O'Hara from Newbridge Shotokan Karate Club.

In the Ippon Kumite, first place was again Savannah Coates, second place was again Ruth O'Hara and Joint third place was Leanne Royle from the Tunnyduff Shotokan Karate Club.

Aoife Farrelly from Corduff Shotokan Karate Club came second in the ladies kumite u21.

There were also some great performances from the other squad members who narrowly missed out on being place
